Jonathan MEDOWS is the Managing Member of MEDOWS CPA. He received his Bachelor of Science, magna cum laude in economics and accounting and his MBA in finance from the Stern School of Business, New York University. He is a Certified Public Accountant in New York, New Jersey, Maryland, and Pennsylvania.
Jonathan has also worked as a staff accountant for Arthur Andersen and as a Senior Consultant in the Restructuring Group of KPMG. Mr. MEDOWS has been featured as an expert CPA in The New York Post, Bloomberg BusinessWeek, Accounting Today, Forbes taxation blog, and other publications.
Jonathan’s interests and education go far beyond accounting and taxes. Jonathan also holds a Master of Arts in Judaic Studies and, although he decided to pursue accounting over a rabbinical career, Jonathan received his Rabbinic diploma from the Jewish Theological Seminary of America. Taimoor joined MEDOWS CPA in 2015 with expertise in individual and small business returns, sales tax and workers’ compensation resolution. His responsibilities include bookkeeping, preparing tax returns, sales tax, and payroll tax. Prior to joining MEDOWS CPA, Taimoor worked as a tax accountant at a small business accounting firm.
Taimoor attended Baruch College in New York earning his bachelor’s degree in accounting. He is s a Certified Public Accountant in New York.
Outside of work, Taimoor enjoys jogging and playing soccer.
Gaynor provides marketing and public relations support for MEDOWS CPA.
Gaynor graduated from the University of Guelph in Guelph, Ontario with a Bachelor of Applied Science degree in consumer studies and marketing. She completed graduate studies in public relations and corporate communications at Fanshawe College in London, Ontario. She also earned a Master of Science degree in integrated marketing communications from Eastern Michigan University.
